Original neck (one piece with pegbox); bridge and pegs not original. Repaired in 1884 by Gand & Bernardel frères: new pegs, bridge, tailpiece and hookbar (Gétreau 1996, p. 449). Drawing by Pierre Jacquier (1976) available from museum. On display 8/02: 2-piece back, carved pegbox, C-holes have nicks on outer edges, table varnish shows apparent water damage.
