2-piece table and back, both with inked purfling; semi-pointed corners. C-holes very vertical and set high, well above lower corners. Back has no actual fold line, and no crossbars except soundpost plate; no perimeter linings between back and ribs. Label placed directly on back, just above SP plate. Mismatched pegs, no two alike. Converted to a (child-size) cello. Smith 1977 dimensions 56.5, 28.2/18.6/33, 14, 57 (widths taken on back, and depth includes thickness of table and back). Similar to instruments in Edinburgh, Copenhagen, and Oakton.
