Comments:
Otto & Adelmann 1975: La Fille head (with coolie hat). One peg a replacement. Has tailgut for original tailpiece. Dimensions 32.9, 15.7/11.0/19.5, 5.6, 31.4 (widths probably taken on back); Baines 1966: body length 33. TGM: table appears to be 1-piece; single purfling there, none on back. 3 pegs treble, 2 bass side (rosewood with integral pips). Fingerboard and tailpiece with ebony veneer. Small wedge of extra wood (2-5 mm) between neck heel and back button. Linen linings at corners, center and perimeter of back. Varnish appears original; does not extend under fingerboard. Very small lettering on label, with majority of text on first line, most of second line left blank; second digit of date seems also handwritten.
