Viola da Gamba Society of America

We are pleased to present:

• A full week of in-person classes plus three hybrid class options for those who cannot attend in person

• Programs for Beginners, Seasoned Players, Advanced Projects, Consort Cooperative, and—of course—the full regular curriculum

• Special events (live streamed for online participants) include:

  • English Country Dance for all, led by Graham Christian 

  • Thursday evening all-faculty concert: “Gotta Dance!”

  • Friday evening performance by the Consort Cooperative  

• Evening open playing sessions, hosted by members of the Consort Cooperative and faculty 

• Our usual social events and member services:

  • First Night Ice Cream Social

  • Live and Silent Auctions

  • The Emporium, featuring makers, vendors, and publishers

  • Viol and Bow Doctors

  • Student Concert

  • Festive Closing Banquet

​Thanks to a very generous gift in memory of Margriet Tindemans, we will again offer three special classes in Medieval music, including loaner instruments for those interested in trying the vielle.
