EMA OFFERS WORKSHOP SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year EMA offers four scholarships (of $500 each) to help promising students attend early music workshops. Applicants must be high school, undergraduate, or graduate students, enrolled full time during the current spring term.

The deadline for applications is April 15. An application form is posted on Early Music America's website, or get one by contacting the EMA office (toll-free 888/SACKBUT).

Viol Rental Program
VdGSA needs more rental viols, especially bass viols. If you know of instruments that are not being used, owned either by an individual or by a school/university, send email to Joan Chandler at joan.chandler@ns.sympatico.ca. (Instruments donated to the Society are tax-deductible.)

Video Your Local Workshop!
For members hosting and/or participating in local workshops, try to make videotapes and bring them to the Conclave for everyone to see!

Web Site News

If you would like to submit pictures, sound clips, or any information about yourself, your viol, your ensemble, your Society chapter, etc., to the web site we will display it for all to experience. Contact Ken Perlow at post@vdgsa.org.
Classified Ads submitted to the Newsletter are published on the Web site. Ads will run for six months. (Renewed ads will continue to appear.) If you wish to have your ad removed at an earlier date, send email to Ken Perlow at post@vdgsa.org.
